Bugs in strange places

Have you ever wondered how do those dead bugs get into your closed light fixtures? When I was in college, I looked over at my alarm clock and saw something moving and looking closer saw that somehow a cockroach had crawled inside. What are some other strange places that you have found bugs dead or alive?

  • My husband and I went to an authenic Mexican restaurant 5 years ago or so and we were eating chips and salsa. Their salsa was homemade and hot. Yum! When I asked my husband "what is that black thing?" I thought it was just some cilantro, but it was a dead hairy black spider. Needless to say, we haven't been back since!

  • I love this blog because it is SOOOOO true!! I can't figure out how the bugs get in my light when the fixture is closed!! My mom works in a medical/dental office. One day a man came in screaming because there was a moth in his ear. To make matters worse, the moth was ALIVE! They could hear it flapping it's wings inside of his ear. The Dr. was a lunch and so he had to sit there until someone rushed back to see him. He had been driving his car with the window down and it flew in his ear. GROSS!

  • A close relative of ours when she was attending college, was sleeping and when awakened, a cockroach was on the drool of her pillow. Gross!
